Haciendo notar la importancia de que las personas y las poblaciones adopten decisiones más saludables y modos de vida que propicien la buena salud,
Recalcando el hecho de que la salud mundial es un objetivo de desarrollo a largo plazo que exige una cooperación internacional más estrecha mediante el intercambio de las mejores prácticas encaminadas a la adopción de estilos de vida individuales que no incluyan excesos de ningún tipo,
Reconociendo que el yoga ofrece un enfoque holístico de la salud y el bienestar,
Reconociendo también que difundir más ampliamente la información relativa a las ventajas que entraña practicar el yoga sería beneficioso para la salud de la población mundial,
Decide proclamar el 21 de junio Día Internacional del Yoga.
En Salamanca también hemos querido sumarnos a esta convocatoria a nivel mundial para celebrar junt@s del Día Internacional del Yoga y lo hemos echo en un evento colectivo, organizado por varios centros, asociaciones y profesores de Yoga.
Hemos sacado el Yoga al aire libre para acercarlo a todos los salmantinos, en un entorno mágico como es el Puente Romano de Salamanca, a orillas del Río Tormes.
Un día para encontrarnos (y reencontrarnos) donde los protagonistas han sido el Yoga y todas las personas que se han acercado al Puente Romano para compartir su práctica.
Un día de luz, amor y mucha energía vibrando al unísono.
